The RT group showed significant improvements in body weight, BMI, PBF, KES, GS, SPPB, growth hormone, FST, CK, and quality of life. Between-group comparisons revealed significant differences only for KES (P = 0.007) and the role-physical dimension of the SF-36 (P = 007), with RT excelling in KES.

Both whole-body vibration training and resistance training improved the physical condition of older people with sarcopenia. Resistance training was superior in improving muscle strength (KES), while whole-body vibration training offers a valuable alternative, especially for individuals with physical restrictions, due to its low risk and flexibility.
