About Magellan Longevity

Written and medically reviewed by , physiatrist · Last reviewed · How we grade

Magellan Longevity is an evidence-first longevity storefront: a catalogue of 130 supplements, diagnostics, wearables and recovery devices in which every item carries an evidence grade and links to the primary human research behind it. It is run by Gabriel Radu, DO, a physiatrist, whose state medical licence number and National Provider Identifier are published on this site so that you can check them against two independent government registries before believing anything else here.

The premise is simple and slightly hostile to the category: most longevity marketing is a mechanism story with a bottle attached. A mechanism is not evidence. So every page here starts from the human literature, states what the trials actually measured, and prints the misses — the null results, the missed primary endpoints, the industry funding, the safety signals — above the buy button rather than below it.

What the grades mean, in one paragraph

Six grades. Strong evidence means consistent randomized trials or large convergent cohorts show a real benefit for a specific measurable outcome — 11 products qualify. Moderate means several human studies agree with real limits — 74 products. Emerging means small, short or unreplicated human data — 20. Preliminary means mostly mechanism and animal work — 4. Measurement tool is for tests and sensors, graded on measurement accuracy rather than treatment effect — 20. And Tested — did not work is for things with adequate evidence pointing at nothing: 1 product currently sits there, and it stays in the catalogue. The full rubric →

Scope. Magellan Longevity publishes general wellness and educational information. It is not medical advice, it does not create a doctor–patient relationship, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Talk to your own clinician before starting or stopping anything, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
