Effects on maximal strength, power and jump performance are trivial or inconsistent, and several analyses find foam rolling is no more effective than other warm-up activities, so the evidence best supports flexibility and short-term recovery/soreness benefits rather than performance enhancement. A small crossover trial also links a single foam-rolling session to reduced arterial stiffness and improved vascular endothelial (nitric-oxide) function, though this is preliminary. Long-term structural effects on fascia, and 'detox' or anti-aging claims, have no human evidence. This body of research concerns self-myofascial release and foam rolling as a general practice and its underlying mechanisms; it does not evaluate this specific commercial product.
